One of my favorite routes is a mixed terrain loop from my house up to Gainesville, Texas near the Oklahoma border.  So much of the route is pleasantly quiet.  I only do it occasionally so it isn't overly repetitive, and I am able to note changes that have occurred since the last time.

The town has refueling provisions.  It also has a small zoo and public park.  As it turns out, the park is a nice place for coffee outside on a cool spring day.

It isn't the more remote solitude I often have on my brew-ups, but the endless entertainment of people-watching can be quite amusing. Take, for example, the goofball in the photo above.

I was going to say, you're people watching or are the people watching you? Regardless it looks like a beautiful spot on a beautiful day. It's been winter again in my neck of the woods. Blowing snow and a windchill in the lower teens this a.m.

You know I like the way you bike. I need to do more rides with outside coffee brew up's.

Thanks for the post for encouragement.
